466. Keep Schtum !

Keep quiet about your wealth and your plans for wealth-creation. Unless you are talking to people who are 100% supportive of you do not share this information. Other people's opinions can be negative and put you off what you are doing. Never allow yourself to be S.N.I.O.P.-ed, i.e. Subject to the Negative Ifluence of Other People. One way to do this is by inviting them NOT to give you their opinions in the first place.

Another very good reason for not telling them is that they may steal your ideas. You do not have to give away your best ideas.

It is always, i.e. WITHOUT exception bad for you to have others discuss your business amongst themselves. You do NOT want people around you to become jealos and try to do you down. It never costs you anything to keep silent. Omerta ! Herkos Odonton - behind the edge of the teeth.

382. Prejudice

Never be prejudiced. Never pre-judge a situation based on an idea you have in your mind about it. Such ideas, if left unchallenged can blind you to the actual realities of the situation.

346. Being the Transition

Learn to become a "transition" person. i.e. become the one who prevents unworthy thoughts, habits, ideas, practices, tendencies, traditions etc. from being passed on to the next generation. To do this, you first need to identify what they are and eliminate them in yourself. The next generation, when it arrives will never have seen them in you and will not carry them forward. Establish fine and worthy traditions of your own to pass on instead.

159. Practicality

Without execution, thinking is mere idleness. - Winston Churchill.

If you have thought out a plan of action, the next step is to write it down. Making written notes of your plans, poems ideas etc., is creating a physical bridge between your mental world (the intangible) and the physical world (the tangible). This is the first stage in realisation (the making real) of your plans and goals.

The advantages in this are :

1. It makes your ideas visible.

2. It provides a written record.

3. It can protect your copyright (intellectual property).

4. It gives a standard against which you can measure your progress.

5. It helps you to remember what you have created.
