Retirement is not a function of your age. It is a function of your income. When you have built up enough passive income to fund your lifestyle and continue to grow your investments then you can afford to retire - if you want to.

For so long as you can still hack it and you continue to enjoy your work, you should keep at it.

Always keep multiple streams of income. If you have a job, start a part-time business. If you have a business, take a part-time job. Invest in the stock exchange. Keep rental properties both residential and commercial. Keep building your asset base and generating new streams of income. Develop passive income streams.

Know that you deserve financial wellbeing right through your whole life. You deserve an early long and wealthy retirement or a long series of mini retirements.
