Ask yourself every day :
1. Am I being productive or just being active ?
2. Am I inventing things to do just to avoid the important things ?

433. Taking Responsibility
Tread a careful path between taking too much and too little responsibility. Only take as much credit as you consider your due. Do not duck your responsibilities or ignore problems until they grow out of proportion. Always remember that the best time to kill a monster is while it is still small. When considering relationships with other people or institutions, remember that the appropriate measure of responsibility is that you should take 100% responsibility for yourself and 50% responsibility for the relationship. In other words you must be fully responsible for yourself and live up to your values. When it comes to the relationship, once you have done your part, it is up to the other party to do theirs. You do not have to control it totally, nor should you allow the other side to control it 100%. - Their responsibility, too is only 50%.

429. Hard Decisions
Do not shrink from difficult decisions or questions. They will have to be faced sooner or later and the sooner you face them, the quicker they are resolved.

344. One less excuse
"Don't let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use." - Earl Nightingale

308. Realising the Universe
Think of the times you have procrastinated. NOW is the time to realise the Universe. Use your time well to advance your enlightenment and that of those around you. Use it now before it is gone and no longer in your power.

278. Kill Procrastination
Never put off your plans until tomorrow. "Tomorrow" never comes. Practice the habit of doing things immediately. Learn to recognise the euphemisms that people use when they don't want you to spot that they are procrastinating or trying to avoid doing what you ask. Words such as "deferred", "pending" or "withheld" imply that they are going to do it SOME day, just not right now. Euphemisms are a form of lying. Don't be fooled by this; take the action that is appropriate NOW.

105. Act Immediately
When you act the moment you find out that action is needed, and begin to practice this consciously and regularly, the habit of procrastination dies of starvation and no-one laments its passing.
